Our Regenerative Travel Mindset.
We have 10 years to save the planet we call home. To do so we have to move from the flawed idea of “sustainable travel”, which has done little to arrest the negative impact of mass tourism and move to a more regenerative mindset where the money generated by international travel is channelled into regenerating the destinations we visit as tourists and cherish as inhabitants.
Tourism is one of the most challenging areas in terms of achieving the transition to a world that’s future fit and also an industry that’s filled with terrible contradictions when managed badly.
Responsible for 1 in 10 jobs on the planet, it’s clearly one of the most important global industries to help achieve important sustainable development goals outlined by the United Nations: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Decent Work and Economic Growth. All of these are vital for developing economies seeking to level up with countries with far superior purchasing power. Travel (when organized in an equitable fashion) does that possibly better than any other industry.
We certainly don’t want to contribute to the destruction of the places we love, we want to make these destinations more resilient and help them flourish and that’s why we only work with people that care about the places we write about and feature as much as we do.
As a company we understand that it’s only possible to calculate profits when a company is fully nested, which means it has placed the impact it has on people and the planet on its balance sheet. Companies that are fit for the future generate profits not just for their owners but also for the people they work with and for the planet too.

Healthy Vacation Rentals.
If you want to rent your home, apartment, cabin, tree house or Colombian private island to someone that cares about the destination as much as you do then This Is the place to list your property. There’s a lot of pressure being placed on destinations due to the success of vacation rental services like Airbnb, we’ll be contributing 25% of our rental fee to local initiatives that are designed to improve the quality of life for the local destination. We’d like to work with rental owners that would match that.
Regenerative Experiences.
Got a tour or multi-day experience that genuinely has a positive impact on the destination by either: helping regenerate local eco-systems, strengthens social inclusion, or supports local communities that want to maintain their traditions in the face of the destructive impact of mass tourism? Then we’d like to work with you to help promote your project. All tours booked with us come with a contribution to the planting of trees in Colombia.
Carbon Neutral Boat Rentals.
If you are running sail boat trips in Colombia or perhaps you have speed boats or a yacht but are concerned about the damage you’re having on the natural surroundings that make your business attractive in the first place, then let’s work together to reduce your impact. If you’re not already offsetting your greenhouse emissions or using biofuels, we’d like to help you to transition by connecting you with customers that care as much about protecting the planet as you do.
Slow Food & Zero Waste.
Making our food healthy again is one of the top priorities to combat global warming. If you have a restaurant, or bar, and are working closely with local suppliers in your destination then we would love to work with you to help strengthen the food chain in Colombia. As well as paying fair trade prices to your suppliers and taking care of your staff, we want to hear what you’re doing to improve the lives of local farmers, restore soil quality with organic farming and how you manage your food and packaging waste.

If you organize events, or immersive courses, that transform lives then we’d love to feature your event in our What’s Happening section. Post-pandemic travel should be about sharing experiences that are good for both the traveler and the host. Our socially-conscious clients travel with a purpose and want to support people doing great work that are having a positive impact on the fortunes of the Colombian people and ecosystems. If you run a foundation in Colombia that is doing incredible work to raise awareness to some of the most pressing problems being faced by the country, we’d be happy to support you by showcasing the foundation’s work and by putting you in contact with our customers. Some of them are interested in volunteering, others want to donate to good causes.
